Saturn Glass Marble Pewter Sundial Pendant
Saturn was the most distant planet known to the ancients, and we now know it as one of the most beautiful sights in the solar system with its spectacular ring system. Our Saturn Pewter Sundial, with its marble center and flat ring, is evocative of the planet Saturn, and thus the name.
With the sundial placed on a flat surface and the 'S' tilted in a southerly direction, the time can be approximated from the faint shadow generated by the marble onto the dial.
The Saturn Sundial is made with a variety of marble colors--all of them nice. Let us know if you have a color preference, and we'll try to get as close as possible.
About 1 1/4" across. Comes on a black silk cord.
