"OM Sign" Boxes and Brass
In Eastern tradition, OM (or AUM) is the universal sound or vibration flowing through all creation. It's the sound one hears when entering a divine or particularly uplifted mental state. OM/AUM in written form is represented by a Sanscrit symbol, shown in the picture as both a brass wall piece and also as design carved into the wood. The OM symbol is frequently used in Eastern tradition to decorate an altar or sacred container. The OM/AUM symbol is also used to energize a sacred space or meditation room, affirming the presence of cosmic or holy energy there.
