The beaded section is about 8" in length and features mock elk eye teeth, Czech glass “coral" beads ca 1900-1920, a large central turquoise glass Chinese "padre" bead, plus 2 rare, miniature Chinese turquoise glass "padres" on the tie ends.
This bracelet/necklace/choker is suitable for either a man or a woman.

The beads are old stock Czech "coral" molded glass ca 1900-1920, and the ornaments are mock buffalo teeth hand carved from buffalo rib bone.
The beaded section is approximately 17", but the necklace can be extended by loosening the brain deerhide tie. Aged patinas for authentic appearance.

|  |  | Cheyenne 1870 Old Bead Cross Necklace This is a traditional Native American necklace with a European type cross in buffalo rawhide adapted to Native American style using ca 1880 brass tacks and authentic red vermillion trade paint. Strung on genuine buffalo sinew, these are actual, antique beads from 1840 to 1860 era. The light colored beads are Venetian "milk" glass ca 1840-1850, and red ones are rare Chinese glass "padre" beads ca 1850-1860. The beaded section is about 27" in length, and the buffalo rawhide cross is about 3" x 4".
If these beads appear to be old, marked, stained, and worn, it's because they ARE, having been around for 160 years or so. This necklace is a rare find.
