We normally ship all domestic orders placed by 2 PM Pacific Time the same business day they are received. Please contact us by email or by phone if you have questions about shipping times or need special handling for your order.
Tracking Your Order We ship almost exclusively by UPS, and you will receive a shipping confirmation and TRACKING NUMBER as soon as your order is processed. You can check the 'in transit' progress of your order at any time by going to UPS.com and entering the tracking number.
Ground Shipments Orders we ship to Northern California or Western Nevada arrive the following business day. NOT counting they day they are shipped, orders for most of the remaining Western US take 2 business days, for the Rocky Mountain States 3 business days, for the Midwest 4 business days, and for Minnesota and east of the Mississippi 5 business days, and for certain areas of SE New York 6 business days--again, in all cases, not counting the day they are shipped. The map at the top of the page can be used to determine shipping times to various locations.
Air Shipments If you're concerned about delivery time (especially in the eastern part of the US), you may want to consider either Next Day Air or 2nd Day Air. The rates are provided as part of the Shipping Options on the checkout page.
Saturday Delivery is available from UPS for Air shipments only at an additional cost of about $14. This option applies only to 2nd Day Air shipments going out on Thursday and Next Day Air shipments going out on Friday, since these shipments would normally arrive on Monday. Please advise us specifically if you would like Saturday delivery and we will add the additional charge.
We strive to keep our shipping charges reasonable. Therefore, we've excluded certain bulky items from 2nd Day and Overnight shipment simply because their size results in very high air shipping costs. However, if you do need one of these items on a rush basis, shipment can be arranged by contacting us in advance.
International Orders We DO ship internationally, but our checkout system purposely does NOT calculate international shipping charges because the cost of international shipping varies so greatly according to the size, weight, shipping method, and destination of the package. Our checkout page will simply leave the shipping cost at zero on international orders.
Once we receive your international order, we'll calculate the shipping costs and reply by email. If you approve the charges, we'll add that amount to your credit card total (or send you an invoice if you're using PayPal). If you don't approve the shipping costs, we'll simply cancel your order--nothing will be charged to your card.
If you want to find out in advance of placing an order what the international shipping charges will be, please contact us by email at customerservice@sacredways.com. Just provide your 'ship to' address along with the item(s) you wish to purchase. We'll calculate shipping charges and get back to you with the cost.
Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii Our system calculates shipping charges based on UPS rates, but we can often save our customers money by using US Postal Service for Alaska and Hawaii. If there is a realistic savings involved, we'll use USPS (instead of UPS) and reduce the shipping charges you pay.
Gift Wrapping is available at $5 per item by clicking the "Gift Wrap" box at checkout.
Gift Boxes Please let us know if you'd like an additional box included for wrapping. Most of our jewelry and watches are already sent in a gift box inside the shipping box. For other items we do not include an extra box unless specifically requested. In certain instances, there may be an extra charge.
Gift Enclosures We're happy to include a hand written personal message with any gift at no cost. Just let us know what you want to say in the "Gift Message" space provided on the checkout form.
Gift OrdersWe do NOT send a priced invoice with gift orders (packages sent to a person and location different from the billing name and address). We WILL include a packing list, but it does NOT contain any prices. If there's no gift message indicating who is sending the item, we will note the name of the sender on the packing list (unless advised otherwise).
