 | | | Handmade Glass Pens
Glass pens were originally designed for marking fabrics. Because of their smoothness they will not tear or abrade fine material. You can experience this smoothness in your calligraphy or journaling when writing with one of Sacred Ways beautiful, hand made glass dipping pens.
The writing tips on our pens are hand made, as opposed to the molded tips used on most glass pens. With great skill and effort, artist Michael Ernst forms these tips using extra grooves and a special twist, as you can see in the closeup. Why? The tip is where the ink is held, and because the extra grooves increase the ink capacity, you can usually write a half page or more with one dipping!
Since Sacred Ways Glass Pens are made with borosilicate glass, they are repairable! Each pen carries a lifetime no-fault warranty against chipping or breakage. We don't need to know how or why...we just fix it for you for a small charge!
Besides elegant functionality, Sacred Ways Glass Dipping Pens are beautiful art pieces, each with its own unique flow of color, timelessly frozen in glass.
