Classic "Christmas" Trade Beads
Drawing their name from the multitude of bright colors in each strand, our "Christmas" trade bead necklaces originate in Africa, and they're reminiscent of beads from the Fur Trade era. These are long strands (36") with many small, colorful beads of different shapes and sizes--each strands contains about 450 of them! They're strung on simple twine (no clasp) but because of their length, they can be easily slipped over the head or wrapped around the wrist or arm.
Our "Christmas" Trade Beads can be worn 'as is' or used as an accent around the home. They're also suitable for custom restringing on wire or thin cord.
