 Sacred Ways exquisite hand crafted kneeler Meditation Benches are especially suitable for sitting quietly in meditation and contemplation. Our bench design enables you to comfortably sit upright, maintaining a straight spine and good posture—without feeling tension or rigidity. Correct posture, upright yet relaxed, is the key to achieving physical stillness, which leads to mental stillness, bringing with it a sense of calmness and freedom that allows the mind to enter the deeper states of relaxation, contemplation, and meditation.
Our meditation benches, made especially for Sacred Ways, are hand crafted by our friends at Ananda Woodworking, people who really do meditate and use their own products. They’ve been making fine meditation benches for over 25 years. Sacred Ways benches are specially constructed with three layers of padding: thick foam and cotton layers for comfort and resiliency, and finally a layer of pure wool, a material traditionally used by yogis and meditators for centuries as insulation between the body and the earth.
Finished in heavy, durable cotton fabric, Sacred Ways beautiful meditation benches provide an attractive yet practical accent to any room or sacred space. These benches are made with folding legs for convenient storage and transport. Sacred Ways meditation benches are stocked in our two most popular colors, parchment and black.
